As part of our learning about Great Explorers, we are finding out all about Neil Armstrong and his adventure to the moon. To get us excited about the topic and to help us gain some context, we had a visit from the Wonderdome today! The children were amazed to walk into the hall to see the enormous planetarium. We watched some amazing, immersive shows where we travelled to the moon and even to Mars! We also learnt lots of information about the stars and our galaxy. Did you know that the hottest stars are actually blue / white, whereas the cooler stars are red? 

We all really enjoyed the experience and are even more excited to keep learning about more explorers now!
