Lakeside Artwork Project

The Gingerbread Man

Pupils across Milford worked together to create an artwork for the Lakeside production of ‘The Gingerbread Man’. The artwork will be displayed in the gallery outside the theatre alongside work from other Nottingham schools. Visitors can view the gallery to see the wonderful artwork across the city.

Pupils from the Milford Academy chose the theme of sustainability for the project. The collage artwork included photographs of the Milford grounds as well as natural paintings and sketches. Pupils also created art from recycled materials such as, newspaper and plastic bottles. Key messages, such as ‘recycle’ and ‘reuse’ were woven into the collage.
