M.O.O.S.E. – Milford’s Out Of School Experience  for children from Reception to Year 6.

M.O.O.S.E. has been running since September 2009. It is an inclusive organisation, led by qualified staff who are C.R.B. checked.

The Club is monitored by the Local Authority and follows OFSTED guidelines and standards.

Unfortunately, we are no longer able to offer this facility to pupils who do not attend Milford.

Mrs. Diane Lane is responsible for the day to day running of the Club. If you are a working parent / carer or a parent / carer going back to college, then we may be able to offer affordable childcare that suits your needs. We  also may be able to negotiate emergency and respite care for parents / carers who require it. Please contact the main office on : 01159152951

We sometimes reach the maximum of children who can attend the Club and we therefore ask Parents / carers who, on occasions, wish to change agreed arrangement to do so a day in advance of the children attending. Please contact the main office if you need to change or cancel any bookings made.

Children are collected from their class after the school day and taken to the Club to participate in a variety of carefully planned activities. 

The ethos of the Club is based around a nurturing family unit. The children sit down together, like a family and eat an evening meal which has been prepared using fresh ingredients. The children then share in clearing away the dishes after they have eaten. The menu offered to the children is reviewed every two weeks.

The cost of each session is £10 (to be paid in advance) and because of the growing popularity of the Club, we are asking parents / carers to specify which day’s they would like their child/ren to attend, and we will hold that day open for them. If you are unable to attend on the specified day, unfortunately the full charge will incur. We also charge a late fee of £5 for every 5 minutes parents / carers are late collecting their children after M.O.O.S.E. The session begins at 3.15 p.m. and ends at 5:45 p.m. All children and staff have to be off the premises by 6:00 p.m.

 M.O.O.S.E. is located in the Milford Hub on The Milford Academy site.
