Bronze Bands

Class 3 and I are proud to announce that 6 children have achieved their Bronze bands! They have done this by demonstrating fantastic behaviour and attitude to the Bronze targets. They have received their certificates and prizes in assembly.

The Milford values are discussed on a daily basis to make our class a happy learning environment.

I would like to award even more Bronze bands! Keep following those Milford values children.

Christmas Sing-a-Long

Dear all parents and carers,

Tickets are now on sale for the Key Stage Two Christmas Sing-a-Long. You can collect these tickets from the school office before, during or after the school day. The performances are taking place on Monday and Tuesday next week (the 5th and 6th December) so we look forward to seeing you in the audience then.

Remember, due to the popularity of our event, families can only receive up to 2 tickets each and these are available on a first come first served basis.

Many thanks,

Mrs Hickling

Monkey’s 3rd Birthday

Whilst learning about different festivals and celebrations, we celebrated Monkey’s 3rd Birthday with him.

We learnt about the different routines that families may have when celebrating special events and spoke about our experiences of our own birthdays and going to birthday parties.

We threw Monkey a little party in Nursery.  We made him some birthday cards, wrote some party invitations, wrapped him some presents and made party hats.

Once we were ready we sung happy birthday to monkey and gave him our gifts.  He had a birthday cake in the shape of a caterpillar and we had a tiny taste.  After that we did some dancing and played party games like musical statues and pass the parcel.
