This week our children have been making something special for their loved ones.
Take a look at how busy they have been.
“It is messy, it sticks to my hands”
The children showed great concentration when decorating their gifts.
Using the paint brushes, the children were able to improve their fine motor skills whilst also completing their presents.
Choosing their favourite colours to finish their creations.
While working on their cards the children engaged in conversation and built up their social skills.
Busy working on our gifts.
Making the flowers was tricky but with the help of our fine motor skills, the end product looked amazing.
Applying the last finishing touches to our gifts.
we hope you have a lovely day and enjoy your presents.

Easter Stay and Play Day & Easter Bonnet Parade
Wednesday 3rd April 2019
Everyone is welcome to join us on Wednesday for our termly Stay and Play Day. Only £2.00 per adult to cover the cost of resources.
There will be an Easter Theme and we invite you to make an Easter bonnet with your child before the day so they can join the parade, which will be held at the beginning of each session. The parades will be judged with prizes for the best bonnets. There are no rules to how the bonnets should be made so they can be as fancy or original as you like. If you would like to start with a basic hat, we will be selling them at nursery £1.00 each from Thursday 28th March.
We hope as many children as possible will be able to have someone join them at nursery but the staff will all be there to make sure everyone has fun on the day.
There will be the popular adult painting competition for you to enter, Easter cards and decorations to create, chocolate nests to make and other activities to take part in as well as refreshments during the session.
We hope to see you there!
Mrs Simons and the Nursery Team
Class 7 have filled their marble jar!
As a treat, they have asked for a DVD/Games afternoon on Wednesday 3rd April.
A letter will be sent out tomorrow with more information.
Over the Easter holiday, we have an exciting couple of weeks planned. Our theme for Week One is Sport. Hopefully the weather will be lovely and we can get outside for some fresh air alongside our physical activity.
In Week Two we have activities centred around the theme of Easter involving egg painting, a baking competition, songs and the Easter story.
