Class 11’s Fantastic, Fabulous Flapjack Friday

As a treat for our hard work this half term, Class 11 spent the afternoon making flapjacks!

We split into small groups and worked together to melt butter and mix the ingredients. We filled our trays and left them in the oven whilst we attended singing assembly. When the children returned to the classroom there was a tray of flapjack  to sample and parcels to take home!

Fantastic, fabulous flapjack Friday was a hit! Thank you to Liz who brought in the ingredients and equipment and spent the afternoon helping us to make them!

Linking with our local library!

Year 4 pupils visited Clifton Library to find out how our local library serves the community and offers many opportunities!

Pupils were also treated to songs, stories, jokes and a tour. Everyone picked a book perfect for them!

Milford pupils plan to visit Clifton Library on a regular basis and get involved in as many library events as possible.

Thank you to Ian Stone from the Library Service for making our visit so enjoyable and informative!

Mid-Term Reports

Dear parents and carers,

On Friday this week (15th February 2019) pupils will be receiving their mid-term report.

A letter went out last week asking for your response on how you would like to receive this report. Please ensure that these reply slips are returned to school prior to Friday so that we can send the report home in your preferred method.

Many thanks,

Mrs Hickling and Miss Richardson
