Class 12’s Mouse Gets a Knitted Surprise

Our mouse arrived back from a weekend at Amy’s house with a lovely new hat, scarf and sleeping bag. Our mouse has been busy since the start of this school year and has been to lots of the children’s houses. He is now going to a stay cosy and warm throughout the winter!

Stay and Play Day

Our first Stay and Play day of the year will be held on Thursday 29th November.

Come and get creative whilst spending time with your little one! We have lots of activities planned for you, including Christmas cards and decorations. Get competitive and take part in our painting competition, which the children will judge!

We are asking for a donation of £2.00 per adult to cover the costs of the materials.

See you there!

KS1 Choir Prepare for Christmas Concert

On Friday the 16th of November, the KS1 choir took part in a singing workshop run by Nottingham Music Hub to help them prepare for their upcoming concert at the Royal Concert Hall. The singing teacher was very impressed with the children’s beautiful singing voices and their ability to learn songs. He also commented on their excellent behaviour. Well done KS1 Choir!

P.E. Kits

Dear parents and carers,

We are increasingly becoming aware of children who do not have their P.E. kit in school at all times. As a result of this, pupils are missing P.E. curriculum time due to not having the whole/part of their kit in school. It is very important that the pupils keep this in school throughout the year and that these are only taken home during the holidays to be washed etc.

Since starting Year 6, we have only had one week when all the children had their kits in; this is very disappointing. Please ensure that your child has the correct kit in school at all times as P.E. lessons are just as important as the other areas of the curriculum.

Many thanks
