Over the past year, several KS2 students have been learning to play the Guitar during weekly group lessons. The children have worked to develop their technique whilst learning a variety of music including ‘Shape of You’ by Ed Sheeran, as well as more classical repertoire. Several of the children have also attended Area Band this year, which has given them the chance to perform as part of a larger group with children from surrounding schools. On Friday all of the guitarists gave a fantastic performance to the whole school, enabling the children to showcase all they have learnt this year. Well done to all our Milford guitarists!
