Don’t forget it’s the Foundation Stage Easter Stay and Play day on Tuesday 28th March. Families are invited to spend the session with us; making Easter crafts, having Easter egg hunts outside and of course we can’t forget the parents painting competition! You will have the opportunity to spend time with your child in Nursery and the Foundation 2 classes.
The session times are as follows:
Morning session – 9am-11am
Afternoon session – 1pm-3pm
We will be having an Easter bonnet parade in the morning and afternoon. There will be prizes for the winners and a little something for every child that has taken part. Please bring your bonnets in the morning (or afternoon if your child has an afternoon Nursery space) with their name clearly visible.
There will also be some pocket money toys to buy if you wish.
We can’t wait to see you!
The Foundation Stage Team
This week Class 8 became chefs for a day. They considered hygiene as they prepared to make the kebabs, washing hands and surfaces carefully. As the kebabs were made, children showed excellent cutting skills with plastic knives, taking care and developing precision. The finishing touch was drizzling fairtrade chocolate over the fruit kebabs. Of course we needed to taste and evaluate our finished fruit kebabs!
A big well done to Class 14 who reached the top of their marble tower and achieved their treat today. They have worked hard to show good behaviour and to display our Milford Values over this half term. This hard work and effort has been rewarded with a relaxing afternoon of Mother’s Day crafts and board games.
A big well done to Class 15 who reached the top of their marble tower and achieved their treat today. They have worked hard to show good behaviour and to display our Milford Values over this half term. This hard work and effort has been rewarded with a relaxing afternoon of Mother’s Day crafts and board games.
We had a fantastic day at 360 Play for our Nursery family visit. The children did us proud and demonstrated outstanding behaviour throughout the day. Staff and parents also had a lovely time and everyone had smiles on their faces.
There was so much to do that we cannot possibly tell you everything, so here are a few photos to show everyone what we got up to…

Taking a rest in the climbing area
