New Climbing Equipment

Monkeys and Cubs were very excited to try out the new equipment on the playground this week. They have all shown courage, determination and persistence.

What is Book Club?

Book Club is a great opportunity for children to save money to buy a brand new book (at a reduced price) for them to treasure.

  • It encourages the children’s love of books and reading.
  • It helps develop their reading skills.
  • It helps them to understand the value of money.

Children can save any amount from 20p – £1 per session.

Opening times: 9am – 9.30 am every Monday morning – Mrs Vaughan or the Book Club monitors will collect and record the monies.

Towards the end of each half term children with enough money saved, will be able to choose their book to take home.

Speaking and Listening Competition

I would like to say a huge well done to the first 9 children who shared their presentations with us yesterday. They were very interesting and we all enjoyed listening to them.

Thank you to parents for supporting your child in preparing for their presentation.

Class 3 and I are looking forward to hearing the rest.

Please ask if you have any questions.

Many thanks
Miss Marshall
