Dear parents and carers,
Your child received a letter on Monday (30th January) regarding school reading books. These books were collected in as each child will be having a new book after half-term which will be both their reading and guided reading book.
From now until after half-term your child will not be receiving a school book as we need to audit our current stock and order more texts where necessary. Please encourage your child to continue completing the reading challenges in their Reading Diaries until then. They can also read books from home, information off the internet and newspapers to write about in their diaries.
Many thanks
Mrs Hickling
Art group pupils have been coaching younger children to develop their sketching skills. They experimented with pencil grades and explored shading techniques. As the older children worked with the younger pupils, they encouraged and motivated them.

Class 8 have been performing rainforest poems. You would be amazed at the way we used volume and expression in our voices to bring the poems alive. We also created amusing actions to entertain our audience!
