Sensory Walk

We would like to thank all the parents and family members that joined us on our sensory walk around the local area.

We used our senses to see what we could see, hear, touch and smell.  As we walked towards the flower park, there were so many things to see and hear.

At the flower park we smelt the flowers, saw lots of squirrels and heard the birds in the trees.  We collected lots of natural objects that we found, including conkers, pine cones and feathers.

Enjoying the last of the summer sun

It has been another wonderful week in Class12. We have delved deeper into out topic work by looking at where the Vikings came from and at what point in history they came to Britain. We have continue our work on place value and have spent some time looking at negative numbers and discussed that, unfortunately, in a few months we may be looking at these numbers on a thermometer. We made the most of the warm weather and went out to look out our grounds and the changing of the season and even took part in some weeding and seed collection.
