Anti-Bullying Week 2015

The Milford Academy’s Anti-Bullying week will take place between Monday 30th November and Friday 4th December. The theme of the week is ‘Make a noise about bullying’ where the children will be empowered to speak out and tell someone if they know of any bullying– whether it is happening to them or to someone else, face to face or online.

Book Club Reminder

Please remember to send in your child’s Book Club money every Monday morning – any amount from 20p up to a £1 as it is a savings scheme.

Thank you

Library opening!

The area outside the staff room has been refurbished. It is now a bright, clean and exciting library! There are over 1000 books which will be available for KS2 children to borrow. We are very excited to give the children this opportunity and have stocked many different titles. There is also a new library system which the children will be able to access at home – details to follow.

We are very fortunate to have the local MP, Lillian Greenwood, opening the library on Friday of this week.  The Evening Post will also be in attendance so look out for pictures!
