Culture Day

The Monkeys and Cubs classes joined with the Nursery on Friday to celebrate Culture Day with the rest of school. There were lots of activities on offer throughout the EYFS and children enjoyed sharing with brothers and sisters.

We listened to a story about a greedy goat, read to us by Miss Beri in Hindi. We made Rangoli and Mehndi patterns, played with fragranced rainbow rice and dressed up in saris. We listened to Indian music and danced in the garden. Best of all we tasted Indian foods, including samosas, bhajis, naan bread and poppadoms with different curries.

A Cracking Time at Conkers

Class 7, and the other classes in Lower key Stage 2, had an absolutely brilliant time at Conkers yesterday.

We started the morning with The Barefoot Walk then moved onto the train and adventure play areas before interacting with the Science equipment and solving the Labyrinth. It was certainly a fun-filled day and we would definitely recommend it to other families too.

We solved the Labyrinth!

Many thanks
