School admissions have sent out letters to all families that applied for their child’s school place for September 2015. Please make sure that you respond to the letter by accepting the offer they have made. You can do this through email, phone call or following the link on your letter to the admissions website.
Please accept the offer so that your child’s school place is secured.
I hope you all had a lovely Easter break with your family.
We will be continuing with swimming lessons this term. Our first session starts this coming Monday, the 27th April. Please ensure that all children have their swimming kits in school (a towel and either a swimming costume or shorts).
Also, all children are required to have their P.E. kit in school at all times. Please ensure that these are in by the end of the week.
Dear Parent / Guardian
For the 2015/2016 Year 6 residential we have provisionally booked a week at the Peak Venture Centre in the Peak District from Monday 16th November to Friday 20th November 2015. The total cost of the trip will be £130.00. The cost includes all activities, food, accommodation and transport.
The children will be staying in dormitory accommodation at the Peak Venture site and will spend the week taking part in a variety of both outdoor and indoor adventure activities.
To confirm your booking, an initial deposit of £25.00 will be required. This can be paid at the school office from Tuesday 21st April and must be paid by Friday 1st May 2015.
A further £105.00 will need to be paid by Monday 14th September 2015 in either one payment or instalments. If your child is entitled to free school meals, we still require a £25.00 deposit but there will be no further charge. Please note, if you withdraw your child from the trip after the 14th September we will not be able to refund your £25.00 as payments will have already been made to Peak Venture.
There will be a meeting on Wednesday 22nd April 2015 at 3.15 p.m. in Class 11 for you to ask any questions about the trip.
